Tips On Setting A Healthy Routine

Get a workout in

Whether it’s going on a hike in the morning or getting a 20 minute HIIT workout in, raising your body temp detoxes the body and burns major calories. Try to set aside 2-3 days where you can get a workout in, sit in a sauna, or do something to make your body sweat. It can easily be in the comfort of your own home.

Hydrate yourself

This is so important and something most people ignore. Always always always HYDRATE yourself. This helps to detox your body and flush everything out. It helps with bloating and most importantly, keeping you hydrated. I always drink a glass of warm water with lemon in the morning before I start my day. Keep track of your water intake, there are so many great apps or even water bottles that will keep you on track!

Meal prep

Nothing says routine better than prepped meals or snacks for the week! I like to spend every Sunday getting ready for the week ahead by prepping snacks and meals for my kids and  myself. I love making overnight oats, juices, and simple meals like salmon and chicken that I can throw in salads. Doing this makes my week go so much smoother!

Go outside

Quality time outdoors, even if it’s just for 10 minutes, has so many benefits. Taking a quick walk can help reduce stress and improve your mood. If you work at an office and even from home, make time in your schedule to get a quick little walk outside. There are so many mental benefits, even just walking to your car and back!

Be organized

A healthy routine goes hand in hand with organization. Spend some time each week organizing a part of your life that you have been wanting to tackle. Going through iPhone photos, organizing emails, cleaning out your closet or giving your kitchen a refresh, these simple tasks don’t have to feel intimidating. Starting off each week on an organized foot will help instill healthy routines year round!
